i always expected at least a clean room, but alas, there was mold on the ceiling and the toilet seat was loose, probably from the last poor soul holding on for dear life. not to mention the dirty cups upon arrival. i thought a complimentary gesture was in order for my troubles, but no, just silence. shocking!

Comfortable atmosphere with friendly locals and staff.
Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the room left much to be desired. I noticed mold in multiple areas, including the ceiling and window frames. the furniture appeared quite outdated, and there were noticeable stains on the carpet that made it difficult to relax.

Charming local pub experience
The Inn offers a cozy atmosphere, with friendly locals and attentive staff creating a welcoming vibe. The food was flavorful, especially the fish and chips, and the pub area was clean and had a historic charm.
The rooms were disappointing with dampness, stained carpets, and outdated furniture. The bathroom needed serious attention, and the mattress was uncomfortable, making restful sleep difficult.

We loved how close it was to the ferry terminal, which made our travels that much easier. The evening meal was a standout, with our kids enjoying a variety of options. Plus, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for our big family of seven.
My wife says that the breakfast should have been included with the room rate.

The room was spacious enough for our luggage and included a kettle, which was a nice touch. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us, particularly at breakfast, ensuring we had what we needed despite our early departure. the furnishings were quite outdated and could use an upgrade, and the overall cleanliness left something to be desired. The bathroom was decent, but the carpet in our room showed signs of wear and tear.
